Thanks Hong Yong. Thought I’d share it with everyone and remind all that 2012 will mark the 30th anniversary of our graduation from RGS. We’ll be planning a great reunion ! If you can’t wait till then, let’s meet at the RGS Homecoming on 16th April 2011 back at Anderson Road. See you all there !

We had a great party !

December 2, 2007

Here we are 25 years on

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our reunion at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club last Saturday. We had a great time, and it was wonderful to see everyone again. Some of us hadn’t seen one another in 25 years ! Here are photos of the evening. Thanks to Rebecca and Lily for being shutterbugs.

Over 40 of us got together, reminisced about the good old days, caught up on 25 years of happenings in our lives, ate and were entertained by Mifiona, daughter of Josephine Koh formerly of Sec 4/8.  Ma Ping Nee was our ever entertaining MC, gamely leading us in our school song.

Jasmine in RGS pinafole Most of us were dressed to the theme of Blue & White. Jasmine took the best dressed award by coming in a RGS pinafole. Way to go Jasmine.

In addition we raised $240 for the “RGS Support a Pupil Scheme“. Those of your who are interested in contributing directly to the school, the form is available here. Remember contributions are enjoy double tax credits. It’ll be great if you indicated that you are from the RGS class of 1982.

To top off the evening, awards were given out to our classmates. Awards were given to The Lazy Bum, Miss Goody-Goody, the Googleblestest, and the Most Productive Mummy. To recognize the evergreens among us, a Time Stood Still Award was given out.

Thanks for the great memories and here’s to meeting at our 30th Anniversary in 2012. Keep in touch !
