More details on the RGS Class of 1982 : 30th Anniversary Reunion

Dear RGS Class of 1982,

The last 30 years since we took our ‘O’ levels at RGS have flown by. To mark the occasion, we will be getting together on the evening of Saturday 14^th July 2012 at the Traders Hotel. We are hoping to see as many of you as possible. It’ll be great if you could get as many of your friends together as possible and join us that evening. Most of us are busy mums and wives who deserve a much needed a break, so for that evening, leave your responsibilities behind for a few hours and relive the years spent at our alma mater.

A western-international buffer dinner with a full halal section and a commemorative gift will come up to $90 per head. Registration starts now. Please send an email to rgsclassof1982@gmail.com with the following information and we will then get back to you on payment information.

We will be inviting teachers who have made such a mark in your lives. Most of us can at least name a teacher who we will never ever forget. We are looking for sponsors for the teachers. Complimentary parking will be available for the first 40 ladies who register and pay. For those taking public transportation Traders Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service from various locations. We will post these routes and updates on the reunion blog http://rgsclassof82.wordpress.com/.

Finally, it’ll be great if you could send us photos of yourselves from our days in RGS as well as recent photos of you and your classmates.

Feeling nostalgic already ?

I had a really pleasant surprise this morning when I found pictures from 1982 in my InBox.

Gwen had dug them up, painstakingly scanned them, and generously shared them with the rest of us.

This picture was taken in our classroom during our graduation party in school. Was it called the Prom ?
