Ladies of the Class of 1982,

It’s been great reconnecting with you in the last month. We’ve reached ladies we haven’t spoken to in years. Thank you for responding and helping us pass the word. Shamini and Voon Yim are flying back from the US, Malini from UK, Siew Mui from Australia and Susan from Jakarta. Please let us know if you are in touch with your classmates who no longer live in Singapore.

It’s less than 2 months to July 14 and we are starting to put together the program for evening. Get ready for a trip down memory lane. Thanks to Malini and Siu Lin who sent us photos from their albums which have since been moved across the oceans. I’ve uploaded some of the photos to our Facebook page. So far almost 80 ladies have registered to come. That’s 20% of the class of 1982. We’d really like to see everyone. So your efforts to help us locate your classmates would really go a long way. Call for memorabilia

Your feedback says that the school song and photos from 1982 are the hits on this blog. These trigger good old memories of our days on Anderson Road. Thanks to Rebecca, Gwen and Soo Ping for their contributions so far. To date, Rebecca has been the Chief Archives Officer ( CAO ) !

Do you have old photos, the school magazine and the RGS song book ? We would love to digitize those and put them online on this blog. Save them for posterity, and share with everyone from the class of 1982. Please drop me a line, and let me know if you have them. If you’re worried about how to digitize them, rest easy, we have access to scanners.
